DDOF-OZ Tablet is a dual-action antimicrobial medication formulated to combat a wide range of infections. It combines Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA replication to effectively eliminate harmful bacteria, and Ornidazole, a nitroimidazole compound that targets anaerobic bacteria and protozoa by damaging their DNA. This combination proves highly effective in treating gastrointestinal infections such as diarrhea and dysentery, urinary tract infections (UTIs), respiratory tract infections, gynecological infections, and dental infections. The tablet is typically taken orally with food to reduce stomach irritation, and the dosage and duration are determined by the severity of the infection as advised by a physician. Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, insomnia, mild skin rash, or, in rare cases, vaginal inflammation and diarrhea.
